The common things I’ve heard so far that I plan to support…
Help people feel better represented and more engaged in public projects.
Provide more housing options for those who work in Northfield and for those who worked in Northfield but are now retiring.
Only make economic development investments when they clearly create quality jobs for Northfielders and also have tangible, vetted, positive projections for our local economy and taxpayers. Financial outcomes need to be easily trackable.
Make it safer and easier to travel around town. Will likely need to add more parking and review the current public transit options to align with workers’ needs.
Stop increasing property taxes to support special interest projects.

The other two candidates running for City Council Member, Ward 4 are Peder Jothen (https://votepeder.com) and Dave “Superdave” Juntunen (https://superdavemn.com). They both seem to offer well-intentioned, different perspectives and approaches from me that I recommend you also consider!
